Mr. Stair was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on March 28, 1976. He graduated from The Hotchkiss School in 1994 and from Emory University with a B.A. in Classics in 1998. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2005, where he was a member of the Tennessee Law Review in 2004 and 2005. He is a member of the Order of the Coif.

Mr. Stair joined the firm immediately after graduating from law school. He is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Mr. Stair has a general civil practice, including civil litigation and business and real estate transactions.
