Biography

A lifelong Tennessean, Jon attended the University of Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2018. While attending law school, Jon clerked for the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office in Nashville, the White-Collar Crimes Unit of the Knox County District Attorney’s office, and the General Counsel for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. He was selected to represent the University in a national moot court competition, was a member of the moot court board, and served as director of a student-led legal clinic for Knoxville’s homeless community.

Jon joined Bernstein, Stair & McAdams in 2021 as an associate attorney, and focuses his practice in the areas of Domestic Relations and Civil Litigation. An experienced litigator, Jon represents clients in complex contested divorces, parenting plan disputes, alimony modifications, and post-divorce enforcement matters, obtaining  successful outcomes at trial and on appeal.  Jon believes every client’s case is unique and deserves a tailored approach to achieve their specific goals. 

When he is not practicing law, Jon enjoys being outdoors by fly-fishing, golfing, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols.
