Our Team

Biography

Sloane graduated summa cum laude from Southern Illinois University where she was named a Presidential Scholar.  She then moved to Knoxville and attended the University of Tennessee School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude in 2018.  During her time at UT, Sloane was named a Tennessee Law Scholar, became the first Hardwick Fellow for the Institute for Professional Leadership, and was made a member of the Order of the Coif.  She also served as the UT Pro Bono Divorce Clinic co-coordinator and participated in the UT Wills Clinic.

Following graduation, Sloane began her career in Knoxville, working closely alongside Charles Child, who joined Berstein, Stair & McAdams with her in 2024.  Her experience includes divorce & family law, estate planning & probate, and other civil litigation matters.  She is a member of the Knoxville and Tennessee Bar Associations and the Hamilton Burnett Chapter of the American Inns of Court.

In her spare time, Sloane enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Derrick, and engaging in toddler-friendly recreation with their two daughters.
